The Brief

Cake Story is a local artisan bakery known for their handcrafted cakes, pastries, and baked goods. They wanted a website that captured the warmth and personality of their shop — somewhere customers could browse their range, see what's on offer, and place orders online.

The existing setup relied entirely on social media and word of mouth. A dedicated website would give them a proper home on the web, improve their visibility in local search, and open up online ordering as a new revenue channel.

What We Built

We designed a gallery-focused website that puts the products front and centre. Rich food photography drives the visual experience — when your product looks this good, the best thing a website can do is get out of the way and let the images sell.

Online ordering was a key deliverable. We built a streamlined ordering experience that's simple enough for anyone to use — no complicated checkout flows, just a clear path from "that looks delicious" to "I'll take one."

The entire site is optimised for mobile, which matters when your customers are often browsing on their phone while deciding what to pick up on the way home.
