Somatic Healing Australia

The Brief

Somatic healing is a growing field in Australia, but there was no dedicated platform for people to find qualified practitioners near them. The client needed a full directory platform that could handle practitioner listings, location-based search, and paid subscriptions — all wrapped in a design that felt calm and trustworthy.

The goal was clear: make it simple for someone in distress to find the right practitioner, fast. And give practitioners an easy way to manage their listing and pay for their subscription.

What We Built

We delivered a full-stack Next.js application backed by Supabase for the database and authentication layer. The platform is built around a search-first user experience — visitors land on a warm, calming hero section with a prominent search bar and can immediately filter practitioners by location and modality.

The design uses a soft peach-to-teal gradient palette with elegant serif typography, creating an aesthetic that feels approachable and therapeutic without being clinical. Every design decision was made to reduce friction for people who may be reaching out for help for the first time.

On the practitioner side, we built a full dashboard where healers can manage their profile, upload credentials, and handle their Stripe subscription. We also created 12 dedicated SEO location pages (one for each major Australian city) to capture organic search traffic from people searching for local practitioners.

One of the standout features is the AI triage tool. It guides visitors through a short questionnaire and suggests the most suitable type of somatic therapy based on their responses — helping people who are unsure where to start.

The Result

Somatic Healing Australia launched as a polished, fully functional directory platform ready to onboard practitioners and serve visitors from day one. The location pages are indexed and ranking, the Stripe billing flow works seamlessly, and the AI triage tool gives the platform a genuine point of difference in the wellness space.
